Satin finish 18ct yellow gold disc on round silver ring
My client approached me with an 18ct yellow gold ring which had sadly lost it's diamond.
She was inspired by my Simplicity Collection rings and so, after discussing the options, we decided the best way to make the most of the gold would be to melt the gold ring down and shape into a large 18ct gold disc.

I hammered the gold nugget flat and then tapped around the edge to shape so very little filing or sanding was required. The ring is a 1.8mm round silver band and I have given the whole ring a soft satin finish.
The joy of remodelling is that every project is different and every client walks away with a completely unique piece of jewellery.
